Marrakech

Morocco: The place you come to figure out all that you have been missing in your life. The single richest culture I have yet to experience and if it wasn't the camel riding or dancing in the desert that did it, it was the people and the hospitality. My friend and I arrived at our Riad to be greeted by a tiny old woman who did not speak a word of English (just French and her native dialect) and yet she did everything she could to able to communicate with us. She prepared crepes for us in the mornings and was always around to refill our tea. It wasn't just her, it was everyone in Morocco. The woman that gave us Hammam massages treated us like her own children, the people who brought us to the desert for sunset, and the man who hand-wove a scarf for me were all instrumental in making our experience truly life-changing.
